As much as I wish the WWE draft still carry relevance … unfortunately … changes in content consumption have rendered these once critical periods – worthless.
WWE’s product use to follow a logical, expected, and cyclical timeline which allowed fans to follow along during pre-defined time periods. Road to Wrestlemania, Wrestlemania, even the build up to Sumer Slam. These time periods afforded WWE creative runway to craft storylines that lead to battles of legends at epic proportions.
And before this next statement let me be ultra clear – Covid 19 did not impact my position on the WWE product.
